0115 8533221 rings most afternoons, never leaves message. Difficult to know how to combat this with digital phones. With the old land lines one could always leave the phone off the hook. Any suggestions?

Phone them, tell them you have an elderly person in the house who is becoming distressed by the calls when you are out of the house - they will soon have to stop then!! I've done it and it works!!

I have been getting a call from this number more-or-less every weekday between noon and 1pm for a month or so. I don't answer but later verify the number on 1471. Whoever is ringing is determined/desperate/not too bright. Whatever they want and whoever it is just won't be getting any joy from me. It's a total waste of that company's time.

These people called yesterday when I was out and called again today. Said they were Simply Be but then went on to tell me someone would be in touch in a couple of days about my phone service! I said I didn't want anybody to call.

Had a call from this number a few minutes ago; the caller just hung up when I answered.
If the note from John of London (2/11/11) is right about it being JD Williams, then they have a bit of a habit of 'nuisance' calling under the guise of "customer service".
