  Thank you all for diligent posts!    I just got a call from this number and the caller immediately hung up, so I did a search on the nbr and got your responses.    Yes, I recently had cablevision service so this must be a survey call (though why it hung up I dont know).    Thanks so much for posting!    Mystery solved!!

  Yes 203-870-2570 is Optimum (Cablevision), why would any company robo call their own customers. I came back from a trip and there were 38 missed calls, all for some annoying survey. Also I noticed some of the calls were made late at night. If there were any competitors in my area I'd switch.
