I just recieved the same call like all the others..lawsiut pending..unnerving thing is they had the correct last 4 digits of my SS number. I have not done anything that would consitiute a lawsuit..could tell it was a call center enviorment as well. Told me I would go to jail if I did not call back to settle..Not falling for it SCAM!!!!!
I am getting calls from this number too (2078091198) saying there is a lawsuit against my social security number and they have left threatening messages saying I need to have my attorney contact them and they will be calling my job and I need to settle. They do not want any money from my direct deposit I am to go to Western Union and when I get there I am to call them for the information where to send the money.
I have been getting the same calls. When they call and ask if you have an attorney make up a name and then give them your local police department non emergency number! They are such idiots. Don't fall for their scams
Telling me a lawsuit has come against me in the state of tennesse on my social SN and my name.... b***s***. First of all.... the SS# quoted was not my number....and second of all... I haven't done anything or been involved in anything to be getting hit with a lawsuit...
And something needs to be done about these people
After I told them (the so-called attorney saying his name was MICHAEL DAVIS) that is not my social security # that he quoted they hung up the phone
Same thing here... someone calling from the 207-809-1198 stating that there is a lawsuit pending against my social security number... Which is false, the only people that can do that is the IRS and Social Security. Secondly they were threatening to call family, friends and employer and they all know about this crap, because I tell them. Then they threaten me with warrants and judiciary proceedings; again stupid, because I am a Texan and no Texas Resident can be jailed for public or private debt (Texas Constitution Art:1 Sec 18, not accounting for IRS and SS- there again see previous).
Also, why jail a debtor when you can attach up to 10% of their check for as long as they are working until the debt is paid? Plus it is against the law to threaten someone on a collection call with jail and or arrest and has been for the last several years. Thus you know it is fraudulent.
I just ignore these people... I may decide to play with them if I had enough, but until then I am not taking their call. These people are most likely using a VOIP line and calling from Pakistan or India.
Received a message that they were a law office and I needed to contact them within two days or other happenings would happen, like go to *. Stated that I took out a online loan for the amount of 300.00 dollars and now owe 390.00 dollars for non payment of loan that I never did or even received money for. I have all bank statements showing that money has never been deposited into account. I have tried looking up all info. on the names given to me by the man whom I spoke with. He stated he was an attorney at law.
I too got the same call about being a law office, threatening to call my family, put me in *, lose my job, could barely understand him. Who are these people?
I received a call this morning, just like the above from a michael davis, they had my ssn#, and this is the second time I have gone through this, I contact the attnt General 2 years ago.
I too have had these harassing calls. The scary thing is they have my address, SS#, and work phone #. How do I protect myself? Somehow, I have had important information stolen about me

HE COULD NOT ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS AND ONLY TRIED TO CONFIRM TO GET MORE PROVEN, STOLEN DATA.
THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
I AM REPORTING HIM TO EVERY LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY THAT I CAN FIND. IN THAT ZIP BECAUSE THE LAW OFFICE AND THE FAKE NAMES DO NOT EXIST: BEING AN ATTORNEY AND A OFFICER.
