These people called my place of employment for a coworker. She hung up on them three times, so they called the company operator so they could get transferred back to us. By that time, my coworker was on her lunch break and I was answering the phone, and they went off on a tirade about how they wanted to talk to the director and how my coworker didn't want the "publicity" this would cause. Yeah, okay. Sorry you're a bill collector and no one wants to talk to you.
They keep calling asking for Viki, which I assured them I am not Viki, nor do I know Viki. I have told them to take this # off their information. They keep calling and harassing me. I have had this # for more than 10 years and I know no Viki. When I asked who he was he said his name was Anthony, from L & R associates. He was rude, evasive, and when I pressed for more info he hung up on me.

Another debt collector calling for a Bethany that owes Litehouse $$$$. I am so sick and tired of these people using my phone number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a debt collector explain this to me, because I have the same issue - debt collectors continuously call for previous owner of my cell number.
When they put their cell number in on any of the credit loans, it goes on the credit report, and every 6 months the credit report gets sold to a new set of credit collection agencies - so there is no way to stop this, only to tell the collection agency that they have the wrong number, and you get these calls, but this is no longer [name of person they calling for]'s number - and do this ever 6 months or so - the volume dies down until they sell the report again. Stupid and irritating that we have to deal with this.
A debt collector. They've called repeatedly about a debt owed by previous owner of cell number. I've asked repeatedly to have the number removed from their list and they always promise they will. But they just keep calling.
