It is not Verizon. **Dont give these people any information** Find out what they want and then hang up and report it to Verizon. (or you mobile phone provider)
They called saying they were from Verizon wanting to go over my account with me. Then said my name very badly, vague - wasnt really sure what they said but my name is hard to pronounce. The first thing the guy said was, You have 7 lines... Uh. NO. I asked, What's the name of the person you're trying to contact? What's the billing address? All of this info was way off, not even close to my info.    I said as much but never gave my name, address or even city.
I called Verizon and they said they will NEVER call you like this. You have to call them!    Sadly, people are giving out their name, address, password, SSN even to these Phishers and then they call or go into a Verizon store and add lines, open accounts and who knows what else in your name! They are stealing your identity.
Have Verizon notate your account that NO ONE but you can make changes on your account.

There really isnt a problem here. Why do some of you people look for it. It is Verizon Wireless. They are offering an early upgrade to those who are soon to be due to upgrade to a new phone. Most people are anxious to get a new phone when there time is near. They simply are offering you the opportunity a month or so early. Answer your your phone, say no thank you or say , great, I'd love too. The return calls stop.

I too have received calls from this number, in fact once today and twice yesterday.  I don't answer calls that don't have caller ID and they didn't leave me a message.  I am going to block the number on Verizon's web page.  You can block up to 5 numbers but the only caveat is the block is only good for 90 days and then you have to do it all over again but it is better than being bothered by some idiot scammer or telemarketer or junk calls.

Thank you for sharing your info with other people.
