  Just called and asked me about a "neighbor" I didn't know.    The man was very polite and identified himself.    Didn't give any info bc I thought it was a scam.    So inappropriate for them to contact me about a stranger.

  Got a call from this number. Man's voice. Rude. Would not identify himself. Only said that he wanted some personal information from us by fax by a certain date, and said all we needed to put on the fax was 'Long', and that he would get it. Fax # is 916-843-0525. Can anyone tell me who this is? We know that he called from a California FTB number, but we don't know who this man is, or his authority to ask for this information.

  I called the number back and it has a busy signal, I dialed down a number and it connected with "State Franchise Tax Board".they started the conversation with "social security number".right, like I'm falling for that, I told the person that someone calls but continualy fails to leave a message so until I know for sure, they're not getting information from me.  BEWARE

  If you received a call from 916-845-3118. Most likely, you have some money back to CA tax. As you know the state broke and need to gather as much as they can continue to support the overflow White Trash welfare mongers and scooping up the benefits of illegal immigrants ..
