Calling to tell me my phone contract ends in 1 month so I can upgrade from now.

The reason the Nhs use this reminder service is because soooo many people just don't turn up for their appointments for various reasons. To remind someone of their appointment costs pennies, to waste an appointment slot costs over £100!

So where is the waste of money?

Thank you NHS for your reminder

Yes, its an automated phone line for the Epsom & St. Helier Hospital confirming if you will be attending a booked appointment or not?

So you are safe :-)

A lady with an accent as for Mrs Bucnaan and said she was from London Orthopaedic.

When told no one of that name lived here she hung up.

I tried to ring back but the number is unobtainable.

It's an automated service from Epsom & St Helier Hospital Outpatients.    Call them on 020 8296 2968 if it was for you.
