Caller was slightly accented, asked for me by name which was a bit unnerving.
I asked them who was calling, they said The AA. I asked them to confirm if they were the actual AA Automobile Association he said yes we are the AA company Automobile Assist...not the same. They said the call was about the accident I had recently ( I am not a driver, never had one). I asked them straight out "Are you an ambulance chaser" and he said yes...duh.    Caller was polite throughout, kept him busy for a few minutes then ended the call and blocked the number.

Rings me at 8pm.    Asks me to explain to him why I have chosen to move to another supplier.    Argues with my logic, gets aggressive and then eventually ends the call on me.    I will never buy power from Scottish Power again

The number is on the EE website as one of their call centers, but a lot of people have reported that they try to sell you items you do not want. (or even trick you into buying!)

I explained that their number does not have a good reputation, and the next time they rang and I answered they hung up before speaking.    Does not sound professional, and if I do get to talk to them I will report further...

This is a firm called BPO collection agency! They work for companies who have debts and they give in the end. The only problem is they pass your details on to someone else!

Using my name and sending a text to my girlfriends phone that I pay for, this hacker told my girlfriend , using my name,    to phone this number quoting a reference number about an important matter. Passing personal data to another party without your consent is in violation of the universal declaration of human rights - breaching privacy laws (not that there's anything unusual about that considering everything is monitored...), and the data protection act. Working on behalf of a private phone company, you cannot justify the unjustifiable on any grounds, and the ends do not justify the means, nor does adopting the Mafia doctrine as a rogue agent admonished of all responsibility by the phone company. I will therefore be cancelling the contracts for my phone and my girlfriends phone without notice as I do not deal or communicate with self-serving, threatening, tax dodging, criminal organisations, and will switching suppliers since all my calls and texts, including those of my girlfriend are now presumed compromised. Interns of caller type, there's no distinction between scam and debt collection since both are abhorrent forms of coercion forcing the manufacture of consent through fear, designed to target the poor or vulnerable in society. None of this is surprising, this is how big business operates, pretending to legally absolve itself from any accountability and get the heavy mob in to do its dirty work so It can look all squeaky clean to potential mice.

They call at least once a day despite me swearing at them and hanging up.
I am with TPS (Telephone Preference Service) and have submitted a report to them. I suggest everyone else does the same and maybe we can stop this illegal harassment!

Company is ESI (Scotland) Limited and their website is

Company check:

I think the scam is to offer you less than the 100% grant available and claim 100% from the government.

I would go with the official scottish government suggested quango Energy Saving Trust rather than them
They can be contacted on 0800 512 012

Cant believe in 2013 we've still got people calling in this manner. Disillusioned individuals if they think this is an appropriate way of drumming up business in 21 century. Bet their boss made them watch them Boiler Room, Wall Steet etc in training - bet he drives a Porche and wear's loafers with no socks and it's all about the label. His mother would be proud
