Sick to death of these idiots phoning me asking for details of whom I am registered with for my gas and electric. I havent given anyone any permission to distribute my mobile number to any companies and yet today have 13 missed calls. I just keep blocking the numbers but all end in 006

they claim to be a utility firm, ring non stop with different company names, dodgy and aggressive people call trying to obtain information, they should be banned from harassing firms and conning them into signing up new utility agreements.

I answered a call from this number, they said my name, with a question mark, and I confirmed who I was. The line then went dead. This is very unsettling.

its has been said in the past that t-mobile account users data has been stolen and traded,so don't deal with third parties, deal with tmobile directly at a store

This number called me last week and they claimed to be from t-mobile and wanted to offer me an upgrade.

If they are really from t-mobile then why would it be difficult to find the number?

This is the Highways Agency. They phone you if they notice you pull into a hard shoulder, to make sure that you got off it alright.

Yep, definitely Sky Insurance, I requested a quote for an update to my policy, this is the number they called me back from, 100% legit.

Guest: Caller disconnecting could have been a switchboard fault. Does occur with PBXs.

Had a call from this number yesterday about up grading me phone, told them would have to speak to my partner as it is in her name. They called back today I told them I tried to check them out on the internet via company house and found nothing. The rep on the phone then said it was because" they are a branch of carphone warehouse". So contacted them and again on joy, so I wouldn't evan go there !!!

I just got a call from this number too, they claimed to be a representative for orange and also work with the carphone warehouse, I asked if they were working for orange how they didn't know the details of my contract or any information about me, they didn't answer any questions and said they would call back in the new year and laughed whilst saying goodbye, I'm worried they may steal my details and use them as fraud but we shall see, anybody else had a bad experience with them??

If anyone phones me from a phone co. re upgrades, I ask them to confirm the first 2 digits of my password - this usually solves any problems!

Just got call from these people saying they are 'vary phone' or something like that, the guy wasn't very clear at all. They didn't leave a message but i rang them back and said not to call me unless they have a valid reason, if not to delete my number. I will be calling Orange to see if they have any idea about this as i'm thinking they are calling about my service with them, due to a lot of people saying they are having similar experiences. If in doubt don't pick up though or put 141 in front
