Falsely claimed to be Royal Mail offering alleged discounts.    But the postage rates she quoted after I pressed for an answer were RM standard rates.

This number called our offices and said they were from Royal Mail doing a survay of commercial customers. No doubt it is from one of the well known franking machine sellers who usually get up to all of the usual tricks ? Pitney Bowes ?

From comments elsewhere I learned that this is Eon. They tricked me into saying I would switch by saying they offered a special tariff for OAP's. In fact this tariff has been withdrawn due to Gov. decision to force everyone onto the same tariffs. However, I could NEVER have got it anyway as it was never available if you had a prepayment meter. Without that rate, my energy is MORE expensive than it was with EDF, plus the Gov. are denying me the Warm Homes discount this winter because my Pension Credit claim was awarded retrospectively and backdated. What a travesty. Gov. and energy companies are clearly all in on the price fixing game. I signed the forms 3 weeks ago and still have not got my new prepayment key.
