They keep ringing us.    Have rung every day since last Monday (apart from Sunday).    Put the phone down every time we answer it, but we were out today and when I checked who'd rung, it was them again.    :(    Wish they'd "go away" (which is the politest phrase for it).    If it's Life Insurance, we have told them 10000000000000 times that we aren't interested.    Surely companies will get the message that if you cold-call (TPS registered btw) and continuously harass people, they are less likely to deal with you!    Last idiot I told that, he said "Well it works", not with me it doesn't.

Unsolicited call from a rude marketing girl who talked over the top of me, not in the least bit interested or understanding of my annoyance and request to have my number removed from their database.
Typical of the marketing scum species.

Just found this...You can report unwanted silent calls with Ofcom at this website:

Told me I may be entitled to a refund on a missold financial protection. Told 'em straight away I wasn't interested and hung-up. Added their number to my "Bullsh*t" phone list, which has a silent ring tone, so they won't be disturbing me again. You do wonder how these people sleep at night, knowing that they're intruding on people's time and lives. They wouldn't like it done to them, I'm sure. They're hyprocites as well as scum.

This is a dreaded PPI Claimback company. They insist on trying to confirm your name. Dont tell them.... Make them tell you who their looking for and then say this isnt their phone its your sons who is under 16. Legally they are not allowed to call it again.
Its time for our own back.

Answer it, only silence and then a disconnect. Ring it back, only number unobtainable. Don't answer calls from this number is my advice.

This number is the control room number for Securitas Security Service. If you don't work for them and they are calling you it could be that they have miss diled the number and don't know it, could be that a staff member has given them the incorrect number. Rather than moaning and reporting it to the police have you ever tried picking up the phone and saying "hi im sorry i dont ywork for you you have the wrong number". These people are very nice people they will understand.
