Numerous calls, txts and emails.I confirmed that the people they were enquiring about speaking to,no longer owned the phone and I’d appreciate if the phone calls at all hours of the day and night, weekends, public holidays including Christmas and New Year would stop. They replied “the phone number is registered to one of the people they’d enquired about and as long as it is, they will continue to call and txt “regarding an important matter”.And many other reasons.Harrassment!

Have 3 or 4 voice messages with an automated voice telling me to ring this number over the last 1-2 weeks and to quote a reference number.
I have no intention to ring them back. Seems pretty obvious it's a scam.

This is NOT a scam! Even though it looks like one it is not. Call dnb on their website number and they can confirm. Usually refers to centerlink or government debt!

Tech Support Scam.

Method: Vulnerable (incorrectly secured) websites, when attempting to download (say) a PDF, will produce a pop-up urging you to call 1300 856 527. Don't call it.

Owner of this number (manned in India) is uttered as MSIT Creations in Montana USA.

They want access to your computer and will attempt to get money from you for fixing a problem that does not exist. Do not allow them to access your computer.

At time of reporting, there is no web site and no way of hunting them down. If someone can add more PLEASE DO. They won't speak to me any more. Le Sigh.

Owner: MSIT Creations Montana USA (in India)

Please ignore this number... they will send you a message requesting an urgent call back only to be put through an answering machine.

I received a Text message from
+61 416 907 428
and with the message:
"Please call 1300133372 immediately to discuss an imporrtant matter. Quote ####### when you call. Thank you, Dun & Bradstreet."

The number was not a scam and does in fact belong to Dun & Bradstreet.

I'll admit I found this confusing because it does indeed look like a scam, I called someone from their company on 1300365553 which I found on their website. They confirmed the number was indeed on of theirs but a different department to his.

On calling the 1300133372 number I received an identical recording message telling me I had contacted Dun & Bradstreet and that the call would be recorded etc and then spoke to a guy named John who knew about my Centrelink dept

Received a text message from ProbeGroup asking 'Tracy' to call 1300660522 and give them this reference number. I called up the number and explained to them this is not Tracy. They asked for my first name, the reference number, and the number I was calling on. After this, he reassured me I would be taken off this 'list'. Whether it will happen or not, I do not know. This isn't the first time I've been contacted by a scam/organisation/whatever looking for this 'Tracy'. I hope it's resolved now and is not a scam, I don't wish to take this further. Will post details of outcome.

My mum got a phone call for me at her house (I haven't lived there for over 10 years). They couldn't tell her anything about what it was regarding or even leave their name. I rang them back and was told i had a centrelink debt but couldn't tell me any specific details about it. When i thanked them and said i would ring centrelink straight away to see what this is all about their tactics turned straight to bullying and scare mongering. She said if i didn't hand over my credit card details or bank accounts or they would freeze bank accounts, garnish wages etc. Naturally i hung up and rang centrelink who assured me that these were empty threats. NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE!

The "SCAM" name of the company is "BAYCORP". I talked to some Kiwi bird about a bill from Telstra that has to be paid, I am not even with Telstra!!    She threatened me with phone disconnection. Phone still rings after 6 weeks.

If you get a call, e-mail or sms claiming to be from Dun & Bradstreet (1300133372): IGNORE IT, DELETE IT.

Never give personal information away unless you trust that person.

If you can't read the fine print, and get scammed, expecting the telco to take responsibility means you are not taking responsibility for your own actions.

I've just got a call from the same number. Tried calling back, was on hold for longer than 5 seconds. I'm not patient, and figured that as I have no idea who is calling or in regards to what, that it is their responsibility to get hold of me, not vice versa.

Seeing this, yes, I think it's a scam. They didn't say what business they were from.
