I received a land line telephone call from the number sited above.
In the window of my telephone there was a name, Janie    Sanchez.
I redialed the number; picking up the telephone, a young man's voice said, "Hello." When I attempted to explain the situation to him, he hung up on me.
The number 210-828-4786 is a local, probably Alamo Heights, but near    Alamo Heights in the city of San Antonio. I do not appreciate this interference into my personal home life. I have attempted for an hour, now, to search for the address from which this call came. I believe it is a place in the vicinity of my home. I do not believe that either the telephone company or the police are in a position to facilitate my search. If there is someone on line who can identify the caller and the origination site, I would appreciate knowing wha

11:49am 14 May 2016 RoboCall from spoofed 210-280-8488 San Antonio TX. "World PC tech" and insisting we had "things inside our computer" that shouldn't be there, but he would show us how to get rid of them...for free!    He wouldn't tell me the website of his company. or any other contact info. Its a SCAM anyway so rules and addresses don't apply. Nothing they say is reality and they aren't afraid of being charged with anything because they aren't in the USA anyway.
BEWARE ~ It's an international scam.
Carrier: The listed carrier may be from the spoofed number in TX.

I just received a call whose i.d. read "BUILDERS SQ, 210-301-0307". It was someone trying to get me to give him access to my laptop by claiming that he was from Microsoft and that there had been "mysterious activity" on my computer for the "past couple of weeks".

I told him that I could talk now and asked for his number. He gave me this number: 415-992-8173.

When I called the 210- number, I couldn't connect. When I called the 415- number, I received a generic voice-mail greeting and left a message stating that this number was used in part of a scam.

The 210- number is San Antonio; the 415- is South San Francisco.

Do NOT give them any information, especially about your computer. This scam is trying to get you to give it access to your computer. Then, it will lock you out and look for all your personal information.

Said he was from Microsoft Tech Support.    Wanted me to go on my computer because it was infected (the computer had notified them) and had contacted them.    OBVIOUSLY A SCAM! (Don't own a Microsoft computer!!)

Hello, I found this number 210-301-0307 on my answering machine today.
I get a lot of calls from these type of people. You can report them to FCC.
to do this make sure you note the number and the time they called, and how many times they have called.
for this number listed-It came up as Builders Square- when I looked up Builders Square. I found a webpage for Home Depo. when I did the reverse lookup I found several pages like this, different names. might try contacting the BBB in-

Computer voice says "Congratulations! Your credit card payment history qualifies you for reduced interest rates etc, etc, etc"    By that time I just set the phone down and wait for the dial tone.    I do not press whatever number they ask for.

How are they able to get a 000 0000 number to show up?    They are hard to understand and want you to sign up for some event.    How do they get numbers?    There is no way to get removed from their list?    Must be fraud - who checks these people out?

They aren't very good at it. I hadn't done anything wrong, the person started trying to scam me, when he asked me to meet him at the police station I said sure.. Never heard from him again.. If this is a police officer there should be a report filed against them, and if they are not they should be arrested. Totally BS.

Have no clue who this caller is as screen indicates private number.    I don't answer from unknowns; and they should get a real job - McDonald's always hiring to mop their bathroom floors.

Have no idea who's calling as I don't answer numbers I do not recognize.    These callers need to get a real job, McDonald's always hiring, even if it's mopping the floors in the bathrooms.

Checked my ATT phone settings today and under Forwarding it had 5 categories, like Busy, No Reply, Unreachable. Each had Voice Call and Data Call boxes. These three categories, busy, no reply and unreachable, had the Voice Calls all set to forward automatically to +2102329000. I do not know this number, never used it or owned it, never set up my forwarding to any other number, never lost my phone. It was left a few times at home under lock and key so most likely they have access to ATT to change my phone settings. I have nobody I ever give this phone to for any reason at all and let nobody make any calls from it period. So it had to be changed either physically by breakin to very secure home or by online method. Such aggression means the person (s) is likely wanting to interfere with our/your lives. Check your phones. Others elsewhere said their phones were set to go to a voice mailbox at this number. This is one form of identity theft. Report it to the FBI as we are out of state. This number is a San Antonio number from Shavano Park area, and is a wireless phone number. Whitepages says it has some 'spam' activity associated with it, but hey, your banker could call you and get forwarded to this oddball number, and it's likely set up to try to trick whoever is calling you.
