It seems like this is one of those calls where they start out saying you won a $100 prize, which could be legitimate, but in this case it seems they somehow contact you based on some website you went to on the internet at some point.

They keep calling and AEP says it's not them. Someone is impersonating AEP and their name is "Brian" and they keep asking for different people. "Brian" also calls 15 minutes apart and talks through a CB. Pretty sketchy if you ask me.

I got a call to my private cell phone from (304) 264-5185, but it was apparently an 'SMS' (short message service) from the U.S. Coast Guard's Emergency "Warning System," addressed to someone else (not me), and not a spammer/scammer: They simply did NOT update their data bases, and were attemtpting to call a member of the Coast Guard regarding what I think was an alert about emergency weather conditions in his region. I tried calling them back but got a voice mail! Grr... LOL --However, I guessed that (304) 264-5100 was another extension, and guessed right, and the person at that extension was able to take a message to look into this and remove the wrong number & update their databases. MY CELL phone was prepaid, and used up my minutes -besides, this guy's life might have been in danger -so, their prompt attention might not only save my prepaid minutes but save their member's life as well. ~~Gordon Wayne Watts in Lakeland, Fla.

I missed the call. I have gotten this call many times before. I have answered before wasting minutes. I asked what dr I didn't pay cause I pay every dr I go to. they couldn't tell me. I said if you can tell me the dr I will pay. if not quit calling! They wont stop. Wonder if I can sue or get a court order? I am on the do not call list

This number when you call it back is for some entry in sweepstakes. Not sure if it is spam, but since they call us or you I am pretty sure it probably is soliciting for spam sweepstake offers and not legit.

Health Care Financials called my workplace and requested to speak with me personally.    When I got on the phone, she asked to verify my date of birth.    When I gave it to her, it didnt match.    She asked if I was associated with anyone with the DOB she had on file.    When I replied no, she said she must have the wrong individual and hung up.    What infuriates me, is HOW did she get my work number??!!    And as a side note, I have no outstanding doctor bills, especially not from the Charleston area.

'Mark' called my cell phone asking me to verify my address and social security number. I asked what company are you from, he said 'West Virginia Financial Services'.    I told him I never heard of them and I wasn't giving out any information. He asked for a few minutes to gather more information and I said no thank you and hung up!

When I called back it stated that I had recently visited a site and that I was entitled to a rewards card redeemable at a variety of stores.    You could press 2 on the keypad to refuse and be taken off the call list.    That is what I did.

Yea they hung up on me also.    They asked for my husband and then they said is his wife there.    I said speaking then they asked if we live on such street and I said we moved and she hung up on me.    If this is a debt collector they will not be getting money by hanging up on people.    Just sayking.
