Receive calls from 308-633-XXXX several times a week (typically weekdays). Most likely phishers/scammers.

Wanting to Give us a FREE Security System.    I have pressed 2 numerous times asking them to stop calling.    Tonight I pressed 1, indicating I would like to speak with them.    I am placed in a call queue.    I finally speak with someone.    I have to ask his name.    He then says, "SO, do you want a system OR NOT?!"    I said, "Chris, No, I would like..." then am interrrupted with, "OH, GOD!!! Uggh" and he hangs up before I can ask in person for them to stop call.
I am on the DNC List...

These people offering a "free"security system call two or three times a day.    I've told the caller that this is a DNC phone at which time they simply hang up in the middle of my response.

Apparently the DNCprogram is toothless and useless.

Got a call on my cell from this number just now for the first time ever. I allowed it to go to voice mail. Played the VM and all I heard was this screeching noise for 32 seconds.

Purchased an appliance at Lowes.    They demanded a phone number.    Gave them a new IP phone number that has never been used before.    Within 3 days started to get phone calls from this number - no messages left.    Shame on you Lowes for selling the phone number to telemarketers.

I can't get these people to take me off their calling list. They have been calling for months sometimes 2 to 3 times a day.

Very questionable company. They will call people's employers asking for employment verification and SS #. They are a JUNK debt collector. This means that if you have olllld collection accounts that are passed the 7 yr mark, they may be calling to try and scam you over it. Perfect example, I had two old store card accounts that had been long forgotten about and sold numerous times. I was able to find out who "owned" them, payed them in full, got it all on paper and ever since I get contacted by sketchy companies like CM. Odds are, they're going to try and trick you into thinking there's some old debt you owe and hope you will just cave under harassment and fork over a credit/debit card number and give them you're money. DO NOT. Do your homework, don't take there calls, do not "confirm" anything they ask you IE: name, last four of your SS #. That is often times a ploy they use to trick you into assuming the debt their claiming you owe. Your best bet is to turn these kinds of places into your State's attorney general. Very easy to do, I highly suggest it. Be safe and don't let these bottom feeders trick you!
