An unwanted call from this Orlando FL landline arrived today.    When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space.    Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

Many posters have identified the caller as Wyndham Resorts, a serial timeshare peddler.    Whether its timeshares, vacation giveaways, credit cards, air duct cleaning, home repairs, computer repairs, solar energy, the IRS, or Nigerian princes, a scam is a scam is a scam!

I also seem to receive calls throughout the day.    At times during the night as well.    However, I DONOT answer any calls that I am not familiar with.    This is someone posing as some government officer it looks like from Orlando area, a landline. Orlando citizenship and immigration service has the same phone number as well. The director there is Mr. Joseph Lawrence - his staff should not call anyone!!!

Write to The Federal trade commission. There is an option to report "someone calling as a government officer" on their website.

DONOT answer the calls.    No govt: office should call anyone.    They should write to your address.    You do not have any obligation to talk nicely to anyone, especially when they are nuisance and an "unwanted telephone guest"

Good luck.

I get 3-4 calls a day from this phone number. This has become a nuisance and I am contemplating legal action. I never pick up the phone, but I am really fed 407 858 3600. This company is impersonating a government agency which is a Federal offense. the name of the company is US Gov GSAD.

Matrix Medical Network stating they work with Humana to provide a service for the ARNP to come to the patients home for a yearly wellness visit.    Humana representative states they do not work with this company. How does Matrix obtain my health insurance information and my phone number? A reverse looked up online shows a residential number off of Oak St in Apopka. The VM from Matirx Medical Network asks to call number 888-315-1845.

I am getting these calls from various area codes and numbers.    When I make the mistake of answering an unfamiliar area code, I am unable to get a word in or get off the phone. How do I get off these call lists?

This is a legitimate number from Chase Bank.    I forgot to make a payment on my credit card & they called to remind me.

407-630-3569 is a SPOOFED NUMBER.    So, it does not
matter who the caller is.     SPOOFED NUMBER = SCAM.

This sounds like a SCAM CALL.    Lots of people receiving
calls from this number.    Different householders are being
told different things:    electric bill is not paid, free energy
audit, stuff about insurance, auto warranties, you have
zero credit, etc.     Also use caution with phone number,

This is a solicited call from Wyndham Resort company. They are a parent company of Econo-Lodge and Super 8 and a number of other motels and hotels across the country. If you stayed at one of their places ever they will call you relentlessly. I just took a cross country trip from Arizona to NC and stayed at two Super 8's and an Econo-Lodge. I left a horrible review for the Econo-Lodge in Memphis, Arkansas and they've been calling me ever since to get me to remove the review.

these "state trooper" calls are very strange.    if the caller is
really calling on behalf of florida state troopers, seeking
donations, why are they using so many numbers, including 2 which are SPOOFED.    Here are the numbers from which
we have received calls in the past 6 months: 561-203-9983
813-413-4999, 813-444-5672, 407-505-6426 (spoofed),
941-462-1008, 239-324-9740, 305-602-3079, 941-205-0061, 239-243-9481, 239-220-5920, 239-220-5918, 813-444-5677 (spoofed)

Calls from this number continue to come in.    This number
is SPOOFED.    So, how legitimate can it be?    Different
posts from different websites say that this caller is doing
a political survey, is a debt collector and is some kind of
rep and a sales pitch.    Who knows?    We do not trust
caller ID anymore and never pick up.    If the call "looks"
legitimate, we still don't pick up.    We will then call the
"person" back.....using the legitimate phone numbers
that we have on file for doc office, bank, etc.    We then
ask them if they just called us.    As far as we are
concerned, anyone who uses a SPOOFED NUMBER
is a scammer.
