Apparently a year ago we filled out a form at BPS for a vacation sweepstakes and have been hounded endlessly since. Upon researching we found these vacation g6immicks that they make you sit through a three hour schpiel to get you to purchase a vacation time share and the entire thing is a scam from all of the research we did on Google. You are charged taxes and upcharges, there are black outdated and extra charges for window views etc. When i asked (AGAIN) to be removed from the calling list because this was a scam the operator because yelling and name calling. I asked if she'd be willing to speak with our local news channel in regards to her "outstanding offer" and she hung up on me. I am sure they'll be calling back....they can't understand the word NO.

"This is an urgent call from Verizon for Michael Johnson. If you are Michael Johnson, press 1. If not, press 2. I hung up.

Caller ID shows A.S.P.A. and claims to be with the AR state police!    They have called everyday several times a day over the last few weeks.    This time I answered and he asked for me.    I said who are you and what do you want!    Supposedly for a "teddy bear" drive.    I'm on SS and get very little help so I can't afford to donate to any of these places. My phone # is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!    So STOP calling me!

I have had no phone calls from this number.    More strangely,I discovered that someone changed my phone account information with AT&T and gave/put this number on my account.    Just happened that while AT&T representative was reviewing my account contacts, she asked me "had I changed my home number to this one sometime back (during the last 6 mos.)."

She says she is in Detroit, Michigan, yeah right.    The number comes up in Arkansas.    She says the name of the company is Smart Retailing.    She doesn't know her script very well.    Direct questions fluster her.

Two calls this week.    Didn't answer.    Never got calls from this number before.    One call was on a Sunday.    Tried to call it back, to see who -- got a busy signal.    I won't answer unknown/unidentified numbers.

Got several phone calls from these people. Trying to collect money on a credit card that I don't ever remember having from Boatmans Bank. I had only had a checking account with them approximately 20 years ago. I agree about the statute of limitations. They don't even know or care about this states laws. When I told them that the statute of limitations was way up they started to argue. I just had to hang up on them. They were very rude and called during day time hours. Most people would be at work but I work nights and I was trying to sleep.

Have only received 3 calls from this number so far in the last week but they're similar to other so called "collection agencies" in that when you answer the phone, you're greeted with an automated recording asking for someone who they think lives in the home. The first day they asked for a person named Trevor, the 2nd time they called for someone named Sylvia and today they called for someone named Kelley so it's seems to be that they are just phishing for someone linked with my number. Also, the automated recording was a woman with an English (or maybe Australian) accent. Very strange. Be very weary of these kinds of calls and do your research before talking to anyone and giving out personal info. The automated call gave me the option to hold for an actual person but I didn't since they're usually pretty good at weaseling your real name and info out of you so I figured I'd report the number here for others and hope someone else can give more info about this than I am able too.

This is the number VZW CS dials back from 800.922.0204 to continue support without wasting phone battery (sitting on hold)

Their audio codec is ATROTCIOUSLY POOR!    Tin cans on a string sound better!!

don't let the mobile carrier gouge you for texting.    On smart phone or any computer switch to XMPP for texting!

I missed the call from 501/722-6091; called the number; and received a professional-sounding message, "Welcome to Verizon Wireless..."    The gist was:    you owe $200+, pay now to avoid late fees, etc.    I called Verizon, hot under the collar, and found that I was spammed!!!!!    What if I'd fallen for the scam and paid the $200+???    Verizon will try to block the spamming number, if it can.    Beware!    If you receive a call wanting money, hang up and call your service provider DIRECTLY.

I'm so glad I have read these. I signed up at several booths at a Boat, Tackle and RV show in Hot Springs, AR on Saturday and they are calling me on Wednesday. They asked if I was Jackie (last name) when I answered the phone, before I replied yes I asked who they were with they would not tell me. I thought right away this is a scam.. when he hung up cause I would not tell him what he wanted.    I called the number back and got a recording about a reservations line. I know next time when they call who they are and what they want.. maybe I could keep them on the phone and make their job miserable...

.. Left a message to call him ...no other information. Just left his office times and number. Strange you would think he would leave some kind of detail about why he was calling.
