HANGUP no reply to greeting
wwwwwbbbbbx (50.107.125.*) Oct 15 2015, 8:21 pm Post
Got a call today.

It's a scam folks....here's why:

(1) ROBO-CALL:    Call was robotic in the "greeting" (i.e,, answered by an answering machine). This is against the law.

(2) CRAP-OLA MUSIC:    Worst canned music I've ever heard.

(3) I DIDN'T WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP:    It rang too many times which tells me...they're scammers.

(4) LOOKED UP THEIR NUMBER:    Yup, I checked their number out....and noticed the reviews (here).

When you get calls such as this gang, just ignore them.    If it's for a loan or a debt...and it's past the Statue Of Limitations, guess what....You're scot free.    You don't owe them a damn dime HOWEVER, if YOU pay them even 1 cent, you fuk'd, you're on the hook.

My advice?    Ignore them, laugh in their faces.

This appears to be one of the "We work for Microsoft and your computer is sending out mal-ware. We want to help you fix it..." scam calls. They then started asking what Windows version I had, and would I go turn my computer on so that they could help me. I asked for a cal back number - was given 800-701-0243. I called the FBI to report this incident, and was referred to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) - I made my report there.

This number belongs to Potter Scott & Associates.
Do not give them any financial information no matter what they threaten you with. They will rob you. Plus they have to send you something in the mail proving that you owe the debt.
Many different people will call you with different numbers.

I had used Collegefinder.com to look into finding college courses that might be fitting for me in the next 6 months.
I than gave my phone number to collegefinder.com and allowed that they contact me by phone.

I had someone contact me and help me set up an appointment with a local college. A week later someone else called and 'helped' me. From that moment on Every Single Day someone calls me Every Two Hours and tries to 'Interview' me for 10-50 minutes and sign me up to meet some advisor. One day I even answered most of the phone calls and told them to put me on the do not call list and they still called the next day! I had one particular case where someone called before 7am and another case someone told me I missed an appointment I had set up with an advisor. This is ruining my name sake! If I do end up finding a college to go to how do I know I wasn't signed up to talk to an advisor and put on there 'bad list' for never showing up?

National MS Society.    You can call the number back and you will hear an automated message that tells you that you can press 1 to be added to their do-not-call list.

I'm making a formal complaint with the GA Insurance Commissioner.    I have several recordings that were left on different family member's phone.    Very embarrassing using different names but calling from the same #.    Today this lady actually posed as a Richmond County court house personnel, I'm taking all the recordings with me when I file harassment and impersonating a federal employee.

Calls repeatedly without leaving a message. Yet another violator of the do-not-call registry.

Performed a Records Check on Omni Mediation and they have never prosecuted anyone in my state per the State Court System and they have a summons they do not wanted served to them they have been avoiding service for months. Judge has stated hiding from service will cause bigger issues they know about the lawsuit but no answer per attorney or the owner or employees.     This is a Federal Judge saying this so if Michael Gie and his company was so upstanding in our country that summons would have been served as he has stated in past posts people are scum bags they need to pay their bills so does the company he works for and answer the summons for Federal Court if they have nothing to hide and working within Federal debt collection laws then go to Court and prove your business ethics are not questionable and bad ethics. Michael Gie is probably part owner of the company as well silent owner he is hiding behind someone else...anyone can google the court case and their local court records as well can prove all the facts here that I have shared.......let the first person without sin cast the first stone and the stones that Omni Mediation cast as well as Michael Gie have sin wrapped around all those stones......

I have received several calls from this number referencing my name and stating that if I do not call back the 800 number provided, important and adverse decisions will be made on my behalf and legal actions will be taken.
Hmmm. Pretty sure that is illegal but if that is the way they want to play... So be it!!!
I am assuming that it is either a scammer trying to bait me to get information or maybe something from my way, long ago past life that has long been taken care of.
Either way, I just let it ring or hang up as I know that there is nothing out there that I am not afraid to go to court and have a real judge take a look at.
