Some guy called me asking for someone.    When I told there is nobody here by that name, he asked for my name.    I don't it was none of his business & hung up.    I then blocked the #. Obvious scam.

It's a telemarketer you'll run into at those Home and Garden shows. Will make you nuts if you're unfortunate enough to be "tricked, conned, sold, entered to win, threatened" into giving your phone number. Endless calls to sell you flooring and replacement windows. They've been on my "block" caller list for a couple years and I still see blocked call records from that number now. DON"T GIVE YOUR NUMBER AT THOSE SHOWS!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought it was a friend in Denver with a new #. Turns out it was a call from China looking for our purchasing department (me).

Somehow this number is tied to or bounced?

This recording states they are from the "Justice Dept" and I have 2 warrants out for my arrest.    They give a bogus case number and want me to call their legal dept.    They say if I don't I will be giving up all legal rights.    This is total bull.    I have already reported them to the DOJ and anybody else I can think of.    I've posted on FB and am doing everything I can to get the word out.    If you get these call report them.

8:04 pm. I answered after 4 rings. There was a click, as there often is with robocalls, and then connection went dead. Another web site also says this is Venture Data Research. I am on both the Colorado and the federal "do not call" list. I will be happy to sue them if this happens again. They appear also to be violating the federal RoboCall law, since I have not given them written permission to RoboCall me.

This guy got me too. Not my money but I did give out some of my information in his 'rental application'. SAME exact story, told him to go scam someone else, now I am receiving strange phone calls and texts from another number that traces back to some type of firm in India????? I'm a little scared. This was for a home in Asheville, NC. He used the real photos, owner name, etc but same bull$h!t story. I can't believe I even fell for it enough to write him back.

I also responded to an add posted on Craigslist for a house to rent in Minong Wi. Same story about him being a Doctor who is working in Malaysia. I'm going to notify the police and also the real home owner who I located through public records. This is a total scam.

I actually want to correct all the grammatical mistakes and just in general stupidity. But why give them any ammo.
Like how many Doctors do you know who get fired because they were in an accident? Maybe for writing to many oxy scripts, but accident, NO I don’t think so. How about that (cuz), love that. Dis gives them some street cred with the homies, aight.
Sadly though people have actually fallen for this, there was a home in Anaheim for rent and I enquired about it got the African branch.    I ran the home on Zillow and it was for rent but with a professional realtor. She told me she had an open house and a lady came up and wanted the keys said she rented it. She was scammed.
I would love for craigslist to pay me to bust these people out all day long. It is a crime period. It costs a lot of money to move not to mention stress. People are looking for somewhere to live that they can actually afford that makes them vulnerable. Very sad.

Used a real name, which seemed to be registered to the address being advertised on craigslist.
Offer was WAY too low for the area. Same story as everyone else.
Complete. Bull$h!t.

Answered a craig's list about a house for rent in my area.    Gave details about the inside of the house, pictures and location and went on and on about God and scripture.    Promised to send me the keys and wanted me to send deposit to his "lawyer" in Malaysia.    Did some research with the neighbors on the house, and found it to be bull$h!t

They guy used my full name advertising my mothers previous home.     Same bs about Malaysia, accident ....                East Indian accent so could be from India or Pakistan or similar nation.    Beware.    I did contact the police, but they don't seem to have time or interested.    Seems like a Major Scam

Same thing happened to me! Craigslist ad for a home in Bremerton (way too good of a deal anyway..) He/it included the rental application and everything in the body of the email after a long story about how he almost died, is/was completely paralyzed, but now that he's in Malaysia he can walk and "truly believes in God's will."....?? Kept rambling and rambling about needing to keep the house perfectly tidy and needed to have full trust in my word.. really weird. DON'T DO IT!

I emailed this guy in response to his craigslist ad for a house for rent & he emailed back with this long winded response saying he had a horrible accident and can't speak, and he's moving to Malaysia, so he wouldn't be able to do anything in person, yet still wanted to rent to me. Lol please don't be dumb enough to go along with it.major scammer.

Calls and don't say anything. When you call back repeats the number from Caller ID and try to get more information from you , like a name.
