Person with an accient (India) called on Monday July 7th. Stated he represented Microsoft and that Windows on my home computer was sending out information to them that it was faulty. (I had received about four calls from the same individual in March/April of this year with the same message). This time I hung up on him but expect he will call back any day.

Well I got a call from this number earlier today. A guy with an Indiana accent came on the phone claiming they kept receiving errors on my windows computer. Immediately I felt this was a scam so acted dumb and said "there are errors on my windows computer?" He said, "Yes, on your windows laptop." I said, "Well, tell me what brand name is my windows laptop?" He said, "How would I know that?" If you are calling in reference to my windows computer that is sending you error messages you would know what brand name my computer is. This is how I tested my theory of him being a scammer and hung up. Scam Alert #1 They have called 3 times so far today. I tried to call the number back to see what happens and it says the number has been disconnected. Scam Alert #2

Received a call from a person from India who said he was a Tech from Microsoft, John, and they had reports that my computer was in danger for one month and he was going to help me fix it. I told him it sounded like a scam and was going to report him. He begged me not to report him. I asked for a number to call him back. I told him I only used an iMac, iPad and iPhone and therefore his claims were impossible. He told me to go to hell and hung up.
