Automated call / recorded scam message both on the same day Nov 26th in the afternoon in conjunction with a text that read:
Free Msg: Chase Fraud: Did you write the check 128 for $ $1330.00? Reply 1 if yes, 2 if no, STOP rto end msgs or HELP."
It is not actually the real Chase (bank / financial) at all,
The *real* contact info list of phone numbers for reporting fraud & email concerns for CHASE users is here:
https://www.chase.com/resources/report-fraud, & email@example.com.
You can also contact the feds at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have had a prior issue with criminals stalking you I would include your incident & call screen numbers in the email, as well as any scree shots you may have of related schemes. I also suggest you add the incident / case numbers to your future postings on this fraudulent scam nonsense.

We rec'd call on 10/22/13 at 3:53pm. We did not pick up
the phone. Message on answering machine was from
"Barbara" requesting personal information about "Joshua X".
We do not know a Joshua and no-one in our family has
ever had a student loan. Not sure why they would have
called us. We have no intentions of picking up the phone
should they call again.

The reason that Jeff Dennis is using a deep voice is because if he used his real voice you would laugh him off the phone. Jeff Dennis is very Gay and speaks with a very female voice in real life. He is a skinny little gay guy with no back bone and can do what ever he wants on the telephone. He is in Dallas, Texas and would never call anyone that can get to him. I u7sed to know him years ago when he used his real voice and he was making collection calls in Dallas, Texas. Where I live.

Phishing/fraud call about winning a Dodge Durango from a drawing you never entered. Don't call them back and don't give them any info.

It is in fact legit. I saw all this conflicting info about it being a scam or not being a scam and got scared, as I had called the number back and found there was in fact suspicious activity on my account. I called PNC customer service and they did have a record of my call to the fraud line.

I had to contact the charge card co regarding fraud. They took money from my parent but promised 3000 coupons and $400. Were selling a medical alert system. I couldn't call them back - they were assisting "other seniors"... BEWARE - THIS IS FRAUD

I answered the call but got a recording to 'hold for next available'. I hung up. Called back the number and was told to 'hold' again. Looked up number and after a lengthy search found it was telemarketer. I am on the Do Not Call List so maybe they have a scam to call you and then you will call them back..... who knows. Very annoying.

Isn't this company trying to get around a loophole in the law that allows companies to call you if you call their toll free number (800, 888, etc.) Why can't I charge this company back for the unauthorized use of my phone equipment and time. I would LOVE to sue their A$$ off. I didn't call them they called me. Didn't even have the courtesy to say BOO !

They are scammers that have taken administrative control online over your cell phone account. My experience with this number started after a google alert said my password was changed. Possibly a passive attempt to monitor calls via a subcontractor of Liberty Mutual?

It is Ace Cash Express "collections" has called once a week for months and leaves a message with an extension that goes nowhere. Today was the first day that a real live person answered the phone and said that they were looking for my husband - we DO NOT frequent such establishments, and apparently with good reason - finally verifying with her that it wasn't my husband that she was looking for - and she got cranky, maybe b/c she's exhausted form being a royal b&%$h all day every day - but another man by the same 1st and last name but different middle name - they couldn't even look up to make sure they had the right person they were just going down the white pages of last names - not really a bunch of crack detectives are these high school dropouts though b/c it took me exactly 49 seconds to google the other dudes name and find him. Maybe if Ace Cash Express put a tiny more effort into hiring their personnel and then double-checking their intended target name they wouldn't have the skeezy reputation they have. *** tip though - they might actually leave you alone if you can get them to stop talking over you and hanging up on you long enough to verify some simple info

Make sure to copy the history of your cell phone or landline phone for your records because you might need it later.
