The number belongs to the Nationwide Insurace Co. They need to teach their fax machine proper times to send a fax acknowledgeing a customer's faxed application. They are wasting advertising dollars by sending really annoying calls at 3:00 am and multiple annoying times

SCAM - These are a bunch of thieves looking for ways to steal from you.    don't deal with them at all.    They some how sent a message to my daughters phone saying there was a problem with her phone and to call them at Technical Support right away.

It was to retrieve an message using an access code. I called because it asked me by name. The caller ID shows, 202-307-1261. When I called back and entered my access code, the message said, recall test, control officer test.    Years ago, I worked at the federal prison. They say the message is from BOP. I was a nurse, not an officer. So I have NO idea what it means...

Got 3 calls in 1 day demanding I call back immediately to confirm my account information. Said it was CareCredit. I looked up CareCredit's real phone # - not even close. Obvious phishing scam.    Truly disgusting considering people generally open these accounts in medical emergencies. Only the lowest scum would target someone in those circumstances.

Got 3 calls in a day the week after opening a CareCredit account, saying it was CareCredit needing to confirm my account information. Insisted I must call immediately.    The messages sounded suspicious, so I looked at the official documents I got when I opened the account. The phone # wasn't even close. Obvious phishing scam. Appalling.

This is for Global Tel-Link, which is a service setup for people in prisons and detention centers to make calls.    The call could be coming from any center and you pay for the call.
It may also come in on your caller ID as (713)981-0098.

The caller is Duke Energy.    The call is a courtesy call to
remind the customer that the billing cycle and meter reading dates are changing as of the next bill.    I know that this is
accurate information because the same information was
included with our most recent bill from Duke Energy.

A word of caution, though.    When I googled this number,
I came across a FRAUD ALERT on the Duke Energy
website.    Apparently, people are misrepresenting
themselves as employees of or contractors for Duke
Energy.    The scam phone calls vary but a couple of them
are:    threatening the customer with an overdue bill of
shutting of service immediately if the customer does not
pay the "Duke rep" on the phone.    Another scam is
telling the customer that they can have their bills lowered
or eliminated with the "help" of the person misrepresenting
him/herself as Duke Energy rep.    Apparently, some people
have been scammed for a tidy sum of money.    Duke
Energy recommends calling them directly to verify such
calls and/or contacting the police.
