800-721-8000 I think is a scam.    I called 800-samsung and got a message to call this number.    Do not give them any personal info or your phone number.    I think this is a scammer.

Ever since I switched to a new provider (PhonePower.com), I've been getting multiple calls from this number.

I am grateful for PhonePowers number blocking system, however I'm not happy that my number is being shared, sold or distributed without my permission.

It is not ethical for companies to share or sell or distribute your info without your expressed permission.

Why the FCC / DTC has allowed such impropriety to take place for so long is beyond my understanding but none the less, underscores a huge problem in the world of telecommunication business practices and how little privacy protection we the consumer really have, despite whatever laws are on the books.

We need tougher standards that are enforced, not just simply used as a means to placate the masses.

It's time we demand REAL ACTION from agencies like the FCC and the DTC. Take back control of your privacy and demand your rights!-------They are yours to demand!

The caller left a message for me to call caoncerning activity on my card.    I called PNC Bank before placing the call and was assured that indeed it was their Fraud Prevention (Security) Department.    There were a few fraudulent charges made on my account.    PNC canceled my card and will be issuing a new one.    Thank you PNC for such a level of protection!

Lots of hang-up calls.    Caller ID just says New York, USA.

Got a call from this number, answered but no one was on the other end or said anything.

Looking online, this seems to be an illegal SCAM group called "Progressive Financial Services", a debt collection agency (I have no unpaid debts and the call was to my company's phone).

I was calling DirectV who's number is 800-531-5000.    I misdialed and got the Protection Plan at 800-351-5000.    Immediately they offer me a deal on a DirecTV protection plan and I was assuming I was on the call with DirectV.    There is no information on the internet about this company so I was a little skeptical and cancelled.    Be aware of who your talking to.    They stated I should see my refund within 3 business days.    Lets see.    I felt so used.    LOL

Missed a call from 347-773-1895.    When I called it back, it told me to call 800-712-3000.    It was an automated system that answered "Free 411 Information"

Automated call / recorded scam message both on the same day Nov 26th in the afternoon in conjunction with a text that read:

"From: 33748
Free Msg: Chase Fraud: Did you write the check 128 for $ $1330.00? Reply 1 if yes, 2 if no, STOP rto end msgs or HELP."
It is not actually the real Chase (bank / financial) at all,
The *real* contact info list of phone numbers for reporting fraud & email concerns for CHASE users is here:
https://www.chase.com/resources/report-fraud, & accountatrisk@chase.com.
You can also contact the feds at soc@us-cert.gov. If you have had a prior issue with criminals stalking you I would include your incident & call screen numbers in the email, as well as any scree shots you may have of related schemes. I also suggest you add the incident / case numbers to your future postings on this fraudulent scam nonsense.
