These people call at least once daily and have been for about 3 months. I finally listened long enough to get a live person and when I asked why they call every day, she hung up,. They are after my son or grandson, who used my phone number,

Being very cautious with this type of thing, and since there were so many conflicting answers about this 1-800 # on this website, I was forced to contact PNC using the # on the back of my card. I had made two purchases late last night, and one was fairly expensive, so they were just verifying it was me. The customer service rep made few clicks to reset everything and I was good to go! I had even received an email from one of the purchase sites by that time indicating my card was not accepted and when I re-verified my card info, it was already corrected on their end! So whatever PNC did worked and worked quickly!
I verified this numb

When I told them I have been unemployed for over 1.5 years, the guy just hung up on me. WTF dude. How rude. It seems that I was able to send a text message to this number (I didn't receive any errors when I sent the texts asking why he hung up on me). Why call from a cell phone? Arsewipes.

This number calls me repeatedly-leaves no message. It calls on Sundays and holidays as well as weekdays, from early morning hours until late into the night. There is no name on the Caller ID; just the number, 1-800-584-0663.

This is Wels-Fargo bank. They keep calling with no conversation. I went to a branch near me and had them clear my number but the calls have been resumed. I also blocked their number through Verizon wireless and added my number to the do not call list, to no avail.

actually, here is what is happening. I think it actually was an HP representative, but they must have a way of changing HP's number to their number on your phone. I know this seems weird, but I got a call (I think) from 800-474-6836. they told me about my case number and delivery date, etc. he talked to me for 6 minutes, and I am pretty sure it was legit. however, the phone number that was left on my phone was 800-464-6836! wow. I called the number the next day, thinking it was HP (I just hit redial from the number left on phone) and it was the scam people. so, anyway, if you got a call from HP, it MIGHT have really been HP calling from the 474, but somebody sabotauged your phone and made it 464. did that happen to anybody else?
