It might be about a credit card you have through
Bank of America.    Check it and be careful.

This number calls me repeatedly-leaves no message.    It calls on Sundays and holidays as well as weekdays, from early morning hours until late into the night.    There is no name on the Caller ID; just the number, 1-800-584-0663.

This is Wels-Fargo bank. They keep calling with no conversation. I went to a branch near me and had them clear my number but the calls have been resumed. I also blocked their number through Verizon wireless and added my number to the do not call list, to no avail.

actually, here is what is happening.    I think it actually was an HP representative, but they must have a way of changing HP's number to their number on your phone.    I know this seems weird, but I got a call (I think) from 800-474-6836.    they told me about my case number and delivery date, etc. he talked to me for 6 minutes, and I am pretty sure it was legit. however, the phone number that was left on my phone was 800-464-6836!    wow.    I called the number the next day, thinking it was HP (I just hit redial from the number left on phone) and it was the scam people.    so, anyway, if you got a call from HP, it MIGHT have really been HP calling from the 474, but somebody sabotauged your phone and made it 464.    did that happen to anybody else?

Received text "Did you write check 109 for $500.00? Reply 1 if yes, 2 if no, STOP to end msgs or HELP.
About 2 hours later, received call from this number. I did not answer. Considering that I do not have a checking account with Chase, it seems pretty evident that I didn't write a check. Anybody know what kind of scam this is?

Stated he was calling me back from HP about an email I had sent them.    I did just report    bad service support.    I called the number back and got a survey for a free Caribbean Cruise and a Med Alert.    No HP support.    Beware of this number.

Never got any kind of notice from the "injured party" ie "LabCorp," but I also got a snail mail demand for payment from these scum. It was a very official-looking DEMAND for a fairly small amount, obviously in hopes they'd scare me so badly I'd just pay it. But I'm a Vet... I don't scare.
Also, it related to "lab work ordered by your physician," which is utter B-S. ALL my lab work is done at my local VA hospital. They never send me to an outside lab, my VA docs would never order any such thing... and I never left the house on the specified date.

I received a call from 1-800-847-2911from a man who called himself Moses.    He informs me, he is with Card Member Services and sees that I pay my credit cards on or before the due date, that I have a great credit standing that I have been approved to have my credit cards interest lowered to 6%.    Sounding to good to be true, I told him I do not give my credit card numbers out to no one.    I then told him I have been burnt in the past several times (not by my own accord) with someone using my credit card number.    I asked him for his number, so I could investigate this more thoroughly before going any further.    I did and it was a scam...First of all the credit card companies WILL NOT call the individuals.    They will do it by mail to contact you for any reason.    I called ALL of my credit card companies to inform them of this and they will be keeping an eye on my charges .    So please also call your credit card companies, so they too will be on lookout for suspicious activities on your card(s).
