These friggers with their heavy foreign accents call and leave recorded and threatening messages saying they are federal IRS representatives and that you are being sued on criminal charges. They tell you that if you or your attorney do not call back, you are going to set into motion, events that you will be very sorry for... Another telephone scam.
you don't need it

Not sure what all these calls are about. I am getting a whole lot of spam calls from the 818 area code. I believe they are all connected. I don't know anyone in this area code. Constant call and hangups from these numbers:
Keep it up! I block each one of these pesters. In the case of 818-920-8894, they have a website that promotes orders of Dish Network (although there is a message on the website that reads:"If you have noticed an expiration message on your site, that means your Premium subscription was not able to be renewed. This may be due to a number of reasons, including an expired payment method"

I received a call from this woman saying she was from Transamerica and that her boss was impressed with my resume, and wanted me to come into their Diamond Bar office for an interview. First, the call was garbled, and when I asked what position this was for, she didn't know. The whole thing sounded like a scam.

They call everyday in the morning and again in the afternoon. This has been going on for months. Usually I let my answering machine pickup and they hang up and never leave a message. Today I answered, and after saying Hello 3 or 4 times, a guy asks "Is this... (and says my name) I reply yes, and he starts asking me if my home renovations are completed, or still ongoing. I tell him they call me everyday and how did they get my number, and is he was aware their number is 818-184-7857, and that I'm on the Do Not Call List. He said nothing after that and hung up.
I can tell by his voice he is African American, and probably in his late 20's to 30's. This is just an estimate.
Total a-hole telemarketers.... They call everyday 7 days a week.

For the millionth time.... WHY ARE PEOPLE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST (which I signed up for as soon as it became available) continually being harassed by these SPAMMERS?!?
Something SERIOUS NEEDS TO BE DONE AND SEVERE PUNISHMENTS AND FINES permanently affixed to these criminals who are HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT!!!!!!!
Caller ID shows these callers phone numbers (as most are too stupid to find ways around hiding their true numbers), numerous websites exist just for the ability to reverse search these jerks who never leave messages, thousands of people (like myself) report these creeps and NOTHING IS EVER DONE TO STOP THEM!
I have started collecting and documenting so many of these phone numbers that I now wonder why I bother answering my phones when they ring!
The FCC merely collects our officially filed reports of repeated HARASSMENT without even a hint of WHY THIS GOVERNMENTALLY FUNDED ORGANIZATION exists in the first place!
If anyone in a position of authority decides to address this rampant problem and follow it up with heavy punishments for these law breakers I welcome them contacting me by EMAIL - since I will NO LONGER BE ANSWERING MY PHONES you may write to me at email@example.com.

Aaron contacted me and informed me that they were going to loan me $1500.00 as I had requested from their Instant
phonecash.net application. Matt got on the phone and gave me their phone number 818-394-8355 for their cash advance and 818-528-4502. Both men tried to sell me their MONEYPLUS SAVERS for $89.00 which I did not want and I told them both "NO". There scammers and DO NOT believe them because they got my money.

My name is claire. Not katie. I am not an escort. My friend luis always plays jokes on me but this one went too far. I would really appreciate it if you can take this down before everyone thinks I'm a prostitute and whatever else was put on here. Thank you.

Male voice called with a cheerful greeting for [my dad's name]. I asked, "Who shall I say is calling?" They said, So [diminutive of my dad's name] isn't available?" I said "Who shall I say is calling?". They hung up.
I'll try and hook them for longer next time.
