Person calling claimed they were calling for AARP United Health. Called many times and left a message. Waited many minutes because the message claims she is on the phone. This has been going on for about a month. Should I report it to AARP?

This is a legitimate fraud investigative service. They were able to prevent several hundred dollars of fraudulent charges from being made to my account using a stolen debit card number. I returned their call when they left a message and gave them only my name and bank name. They listed the false charges and verified legitimate ones without any assistance from me once I gave them the last 4 of my social and DOB. I didn't give this information until I logged onto my account and saw for myself that one fraudulent charge had been approved. I'm happy that they were legit and doing their job!

They do it have my name or number in their files--say I have to answer to get taken off system. Very rude. Kept repeating that I am in notes somewhere and I MUST answer and can't do anything until I do.

I missed the first few. No message left (since I have the shut off, for now). I did try to answer. No sound on the other end. I warned I would have the number traced. There were 2 more attempts to call me from this number, but I couldn't answer.
Put number on the block list.

ATTENTION -- I SPENT 45 MINUTES ON THE PHONE CONFIRMING THAT THIS IS NOT A BANK OF AMERICA PHONE NUMBER!!!!
I called Wells Fargo, too; it's not them, either.
This scam artist has called 2 and 3 times a day for the last 3 days -- it's blocked now!

These are the rudest people I have ever had to deal with.
even though I told them I have proof that a past bill was satisfied along with exact dates and amount paid they still continue to call and demand that I owe them. They and anyone else they send my way wont get a dime.

This is for Bay Area Credit Services. Their calls will also show up as 800 443-1297. They won't tell you anything except who they are calling for, and only say it is a personal manner.

866-874-8380 is the VERIZON CUSTOMER LOYALTY DEPARTMENT - NOT a SPAM call.
When this call came in, it was marked as "spam" by my `Mr. Number` app. (BTW, a great app!) I decided to answer it anyway, and it found it was a nice guy calling from Verizon's Customer Loyalty Dept. That department alerts customers if they're over-spending for services that they are not using. Apparently, I was using very little data on my plan, so he gave me a credit for non-usage, and lowered my data plan to match my usage, saving me about $300 annually.
His call also gave me a chance to discuss some issues that we were experiencing with their Delphi and Sure Response devices. They will give me a credit for some of the problems, and will replace the devices.
So, if you have Verizon, put this number in your contacts. I think you will be glad you did.
